I'm Irene. Bean is my toddler. The way we eat today is shaped by two things that came together over the past few years — a near-death experience that forced me to rebuild my health from the ground up, and a return to the food wisdom I grew up with through my Korean roots, the kind my grandparents lived by, that I had quietly forgotten while living in the States where convenience is everything.

Food became something I think about deeply — what it does to your body, where it comes from, and how it shapes a child's relationship with eating for life. Bean is growing up with all of it from the start.

I'm also the founder of a food travel guide, a mama with Korean roots living in NYC, and someone who refuses to choose between eating well and staying sane.

This account exists because people kept asking: how does your kid eat like that? So I started showing them.
